The PG10 from Spiga is a unique product that is highly valued by customers, but we decided to revisit it.
Dilution with a 10% water base has significant advantages.
First, as can be seen in “PG-10 viscosity graphs,” the viscosity, even at low temperatures, is enormously lower than the anhydrous equivalent; this allows for faster loading and unloading of the goods, greater safety in the conduct of the operation, and the removal of costly arrangements during transport to keep the product at high temperatures.
In addition, the handling of the product in our customers’ production facilities and processes has been facilitated by the easier handling of the liquid; this has led to receiving a variety of positive feedback.
