SPIGA NORD’s goal is to produce refined, GMO-free Glycerine and Polyglycerols of vegetable origin. These products must meet high quality standards. Therefore, they are designed to satisfy the logistical and quality needs of pharmaceutical, food and cosmetic Clients worldwide.
Spiga Nord can supply finished products in tankers for bulk delivery or in containers of different capacities. This flexibility helps adapt the shipment to the Client’s volume requirements. Moreover, the company pays great attention to the primary packaging and to the filling conditions applied during delivery.
All selected packaging complies with Regulation 1935/2004/EC and Regulation 10/2011 on materials intended to come into contact with food. In addition, every packaging supplier is selected and evaluated according to the company’s procedures. As a result, the quality and safety of the packaging remain consistent.

In 2005, Spiga Nord built a dedicated packaging room separate from the production department. The room was designed for filling the finished product under laminar flow conditions. In addition, it was equipped with a semi-automatic system that divides the product into the final packages. As a result, the filling station offers ideal conditions of cleanliness and low contamination during the filling process.
Moreover, the room includes a laminar flow hood that protects the product from external contamination. The area also features an automatic door opening and closing system. Furthermore, tangential chain roller conveyors ensure efficient handling of the packages inside the room.
In case of bulk delivery, Spiga Nord performs a strict test to verify the suitability of the tanker truck before filling. Consequently, the company ensures that the product is transported safely. For packaged products, the filling operations take place inside the controlled room built in 2005. This environment, equipped with a semi-automatic infusion system, allows the company to maintain a high-quality standard for every final package.
Spiga Nord can handle individual deliveries and finished product deliveries throughout Italy and the world in quantities ranging from 25 kg to 28 tons, depending on the Client’s needs.
